More Questions?

What are the investment principles?
The Center Place Education Foundation has the fiduciary responsibility for prudent investment of endowed gifts. The Foundation is guided by three basic principles in managing the endowment fund:

Focus on long-term preformance
Seek out investment opportunities that offer superior returns
Diversify investment to reduce risk

How is the fund invested?
The endowment fund is a permanent fund.  As trustee. the Foundation invests the fund for long-term growth in high quality instruments, to include common stocks, corporate and government bonds and SEC registered mutual funds.  The fund is invested by professional money managers.

What personal benefits are derived from giving to the endowment fund?
1. Leave a legacy through estate giving for a tower of Zion.
2. Invest in a Zion-based educational experience.
3. Reduce your tax liability through a tax-deductible donation or estate gift.
4. Create an additional opportunity for gifts of tithing or surplus.
5. Invest in the Center Place as a gathering point for the Saints.

What are the benefits of a separate endowment fund?
1. Free the school from the burden of raising large sums of money
2. Provide a separate and distinct organization that concentrates on the long-term funding needs
3. Create a responsible focus on the investment  and use of funds.
